But for a beginner there are plenty of simple poses you can start with if the more esoteric efforts give you pause for thought.

These poses go only a little bit further than simple sitting, standing and lying down. The idea behind them is a simple path to relaxation, to shake off the everyday stresses one is feeling, and to give people a start towards performing the more complex poses and attaining a heightened state of relaxation.

If you have looked at people doing Yoga and have been put off by the complexity of their poses and the amount of time you deem would be necessary to reach that level, then there is a simple entry point to yoga for beginners. Very simple, in fact

In this article, we learn about the nature of self-identity in society and its importance in making one adjust better to the world around them by making them aware of their role in contributing to society in a responsible manner so as to benefit all and eventually themselves. Learning how to control reactions to negative situations, emotions and people, eliminating stress and worry factors, making positive change a constant are all parts of building a strong sense of self-identity that can be achieved through various proven techniques, reveal experts.
Sociologist to psychologists studying the phenomenon of self in society have come up with various tips for improving self-identity in society for individuals that find it hard to manage their reactions to situations and people and are continually bemused about their state in the society. They advise learning skills that can positive influence their decision making, including life-style choices that make or break them, by learning to detect bad choices early in life and avoid these consciously.
This is only possible through a series of proven techniques, such as self-talk, insightful contemplation, practiced meditation (Reiki, yoga, etc.) that help the individual achieve a level of higher consciousness that reveals to them how to make good decisions to perform their daily tasks.
As a thinking member of a developing and living society, you first need to understand why you will need to exercise these new skills before you learn ways to pick them up or incorporate them into your daily routine: it is because you need to modify the way you think, feel and act and bring to life the best in you.
In order to realize what you aspire to be i.e. the real and best you, you need to find options and right guidance to motivate and support you in your search to your true, highest self that will also benefit the society you live in. For example, one method of self-development and improving self-identity is by working on the factor of isolation of problems. This does not mean to suppress problems, but to pinpoint issues or causes for the problem and work to find the answers to addressing the specific issues. This helps bring about right solutions through correct concentration through the powers of positive thinking and accurate judgment.
Thinking positive and learning new management skills can be achieved through the above mentioned ways besides also reading up on the other available natural resources that can help us to take charge of our lives again; in this way, we can find the true, inner self again and control negative thinking to ensure positive change. We need to remember that life is too short for too many recriminations and we need to be our own best friend in order to develop the good in us, so pick and apply the power of positive thinking through self-management techniques – and we can surely have a better quality of life, today and always! Start today – for a happier tomorrow!

Is it possible to feel fit and attractive during your pregnancy, or are you doomed to feel fat, unattractive, and uncomfortable for the next nine months? The answer is…yes! You can feel fit and fabulous during pregnancy! Follow these pregnancy fitness tips and you and your baby will not only survive, but both make it out happy, and healthy. Now let’s talk about how to make and keep you a hot mama all throughout your pregnancy.
The number one pregnancy fitness tip that I can give you is to stay active. Believe it or not it’s that’s simple. The weight loss rule still applies, even with this baby that’s bound and determined to make you gain. The idea that pregnancy will leave you confined to your couch with fifteen movies and a giant bag of M&M’s is a fallacy! It is however a fact, that most activities that you were doing before pregnancy, you can participate in during pregnancy.
Check with your doctor first, but for most people it is a great idea to interact in aerobic exercise and even weight lifting during your pregnancy. Pilates and yoga are excellent choices for pregnancy activities. By having a strong, toned body during pregnancy, you will have an easier pregnancy, labor, delivery, and get your pre-baby body back in no time.
The other most important aspect of pregnancy fitness is diet. Just because you are pregnant, you do not get to use that as an excuse to pig out for the next nine months. If you do that, you will gain weight and you will spend the next several months trying to get back.
It is much more beneficial for you and your baby to choose healthful food options. If you are craving ice cream, skip the Ben and Jerry’s and reach for low fat frozen yogurt. This tastes great and gives you a serving of much needed calcium for you and your baby.
If you are craving something sweet, have some fresh fruit. This will satisfy your sweet tooth, and once again, give you and your baby much needed vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Get with your doctor and figure out how many calories a day you should be consuming. Then make sure that you get your caloric intake from healthy, low fat foods. Filling up on empty calories is unhealthy for you and your baby.

Anger and resentments can blemish even the best of memories. All of us have wonderful childhood memories: afternoons on the garden swing spent eating fresh apple pie; Saturday morning cartoons while we ate our favorite cereal; and evenings getting tucked into bed, with wishes of sweet dreams. Not all of us, however, possess such memories: there are the bouts of anger, fights between our parents, even beatings. No wonderful childhood memories can ever make a child forget a stormy childhood; such a childhood may even lead to resentments later on in life.
Resentments can stem from anywhere: they can start in childhood, continue into the peer pressure of adolescence, and persist well into adulthood when we are old enough to bear long, deep-seated grudges. Although resentment is a fact of life, it is not necessarily the best way to live life. Resentment can eat away at our energy, making us feel lethargic and unable to perform simple tasks. Resentment can also affect our social lives: we may find it more difficult to form friendships or romantic relationships if our emotions have been stunted by an ill-formed childhood, or traumatic adolescence.
You can deal with resentment, however, by following these ten simple tips. Before plunging into these activities, you must remember that these are not the only ways to deal with resentment. As you go along the road of spiritual and emotional growth, you may find your own ways of dealing with resentment, and of coping with what is holding you back from progress. Use these new techniques to help others deal with their resentments, and soon, you will find yourself healing.
1. Have a spiritual life. Although this may seem to be an abstract concept, having a spiritual life can actually make you more introspective, and can allow you to examine yourself, and know yourself better. A spiritual life need not necessarily involve your joining a religious group. It can involve you enrolling in yoga classes, or exploring meditation. Find ways to understand yourself from within, and you will soon know where your resentments come from.
2. Write a gratitude journal. Take any ordinary notebook, decorate it according to your tastes and whims, and make a commitment to devote its pages only to showing your gratitude for what you receive. Every day, at the same time, make it a habit to write down five things that you are thankful for receiving. The things can be as simple as a morning greeting from your best friend whom you have not spoken to in years, or as big as a promise of a raise from your boss.
A gratitude journal can help you see the brighter side of life. By concentrating on what you should be thankful for, you are also forcing yourself to see beyond the debilitating effects of resentments. You can begin to heal by knowing that there is more to life than hurt and pain.
3. Don’t be afraid to seek support. Join a support group, and talk about your resentments. Talking about your problems can help you understand where your resentment is coming from, and can allow others to give you advice. By feeling a sense of brotherhood (or sisterhood) with others, you can also feel less alone in your problems, and better about yourself.
4. Listen! A common human weakness is the inability to listen, and a support group should teach you to not only talk about what you feel, but listen to how others feel as well. If you listen to others, you might find inspiration in their stories; you might also find that your problems are not as great compared with theirs, and thus be more thankful for what you have.
5. Confront the person. If the person whom you resent, or who has bred resentment in you, is still alive, find a way to contact the person. Make peace as soon as you can. If you can extract an apology, then be thankful; if the person is persistent, then walk away. The most important thing is that you were able to meet your resentment head on.
6. Learn to forgive, even if it has to go slowly. Forgiveness is the key to making peace with yourself and ultimately dealing with resentments. If you learn to forgive, you can also learn to let go of anger and control your temper. Forgiveness can go a long way.
7. Don’t take the anger out on others. You might have children or wards, or even close friends, who are unknowingly becoming the receiving end of your anger. Resentment breeds anger and emotional blindness, so you must be more aware of your emotions and how you express them.
8. Engage in as many hobbies as you can. The less time you spend moping and concentrating on your resentments, the easier it will be for you to heal.	Talk to people who have no resentments. Such people are pleasant, and seem to be at peace. They should be your inspiration. Aspire to be as resentment-free as possible, and hang out with such people to know how to let go of your inner demons.
10. Stay away from anything addictive. You might find refuge in drugs, alcohol, or food. Control your urges! There is so much more to life than vice!
Your Goal? To start utilizing these anger management and tips for dealing with resentments. Once you start to apply even one of these tips, your life can be so much more relaxed and serene. Anger and resentments should be dealt with promptly for peace of mind.

Anger is a change in behavior designed to communicate “Stop your behavior immediately. If you don’t, violence towards you may follow.” In animal kingdom, animals make loud sounds, if they are threatened physically. That is an attempt to look physically larger, bare their teeth and stare. Humans also behave in similar manner when there are perceptional pains and decision to oppose is done. Physical altercation without the prior expression of anger by least one of the participants is very rare.

Because we have language, humans usually have written and verbal sources ie written threats and verbal insults. Hence we may not perceive immediately physical threat, but can feel pain psychologically. Anger can arise without a direct physical threat and without an actual other person is present. However anger should not make you lose your control. You should be aware that when you are angry, your behavior may improve or worsen the situation. Hence you should learn to manage your anger. Normally when you are angry you can do counting to 10, take a walk, exercise some time, or talk to somebody else about your feelings. These activities usually slowly calm your feelings and after sometime you will not be excited as before.

Anger management tips will help you to achieve your goal. You should find ways to calm and soothe yourself. Deep breathing exercises, visualizing a relaxing scene or repeating soothing words like “take it easy” will help. Listening to music or performing yoga are also useful things. Once you are calm you must express your anger in controlled manner to the person who angered you. You can talk about your feeling with your family members or friends.

You can discuss with the person who angered you to find out the solutions to the situation. You should think before you speak so that you will not feel guilty afterwards. Instead of blaming anybody you should express your feelings. You should not grudge, but forgive for others mistakes. Nobody will behave like what you want. Humor should be used to release the tensions. But sarcasm should not be used. Practicing relaxation skills will help you to control your temper. It may take some time and lot of efforts to put these tips into practice when you are facing situations that make you angry. So you must keep something with you as a reminder to step back from the situation and get your anger under control.

Feng Shui is growing rapidly in popularity and it is used in many mainstream interior design approaches. Feng Shui is pronounced as “fing ehway,” which means “wind and water” respectively. This refers to the easy flow of movement of various “Elements.”
Although Feng Shui evolved from Taoism, a form of spiritual practice, it is not a religion. Like yoga, it is unnecessary to promo, believe or even know about its spiritual history. Here are the absolute basics for Feng Shui Beginners, using the art of placement and design, an idea that came into existence in China a long time ago.
For Feng Shui Beginners, it is not important to get into the details, but they should just stick to the aspects of (Feng Shui homes and Feng Shui in bedroom…Feng Shui uses a design and to choose colors, and other decorating elements, be it the redecoration of a room, a house or even a building.
If you use the traditional Feng Shui, then the grid is oriented according to the compass directions. It you are using the western style Feng Shui, then it is oriented according to the entrance or the door that is used.
There are certain tips that can be used when setting up a house. These tips are as follows:
Feng Shui Homes:
1. Shoes and slippers should not be left lying around outside the entrance door of the house. Let the place in front of your door be free of any clutter. The chi (energy) that rides with the wind will bring the dirt and the stink of shoes into the house, which causes sickness. Once in the house, the chi looks around for water to stay in. If there is no water fountains or fish tanks, then it will flow away with the wind.
2. The water fountains or the fish tanks in the house should be placed in a favorable direction or area to help your get whatever you want.
3. Fire and water crashing family problems and disagreement among members. Hence, in the kitchen, in front of your stove, washing machine, dishwasher or even a sink/basin should not be placed.
4. Chi should ideally flow around the mattress where the children sleep. The children should not be made to sleep on the floor even though it is much more sager, because then the chi is unable to flow underneath the bed.
5. Do not use a red sofa set: The color red represent the element of fire. As far as Feng Shui is considered, some places simply are not suitable for the color red. For example, the wealth area or some other sectors which without a Feng Shui check would be unable to tell you where it is. A red sofa sets gives rise to heavy work pressure, troubles and obstacles.
6. If there is a marble table in the house, then it should be removed as it increases the work pressure. Instead, a wooden table should be placed in the house.
Feng Shui In Bedroom:
7. Open the windows in the bedroom or use a good quality air-purifier so that the chi that surrounds you is fresh at all times.
8. Have several levels of lighting in the room or use a dimmer switch for the lights, as light is one of the most important sources of energy.
9 You should choose images wisely for the room, as they carry a lot of chi. The best option to use would be to keep images of something you want to achieve.
10. Keep all the bedroom doors, closet doors, bathroom doors closed at night, as it helps you to have a healthy relationship as well as helps strengthen your health.
As long as Feng Shui beginners remember the above tips, they cannot go wrong at least until the time thy get accustomed to it. A good Feng Shui Consultant or practitioner can suggest ways to improve the environment and harmony in any home or business using the five elements, “xuan kong flying star, ” color, positioning of furnishings etc…cures for problem areas and much more. Feng Shui is used by millions of people all over the world to enhance and attract good health, wealth and relationships.

Why do most women looking to remedy a health/beauty concern concentrate solely on that one particular problem when they could at the same time give the whole body an entire make over? Of course certain conditions and disease do not fall into the type of beauty M.O.T I speak of. Giving your body as much attention as you would give a car to ensure all is in complete working order is a fabulous idea. Keeping the body in check will keep you safe and give peace of mind.

For example: If you have a headache, find the root cause for why it is there before popping any pills. Some headaches come about because of you feeling down due to the way you look, if this be the case then you can rid the headache in no time with a new hairdo, make over, or a session down at the gym

The main factor for looking good is to “feel” good. Regardless of glitter and sparkle worn or your new shape of plucked eyebrows or bright red polished manicured nails – if you do not feel 100% in yourself then all your effort to look beautiful will never surface. Proof in words of famous quotes like “Beauty is within” and Beauty is skin deep, tells us it is what goes on in the inside is what counts.

There is no argument to debate as to what a new hairdo can do to boost a woman’s mood. If expense holds you back then you may find these tips below very useful. Before trying any unfamiliar products or following advice from unknown sources be sure to check with your doctor/beautician first.

Hair Care

1 For a fabulous sheen to your hair add 1 or 2 tablespoons of vinegar into the final rinse. Dry in normal way.

2 We all need a pick me up at some time so why not the hair too. Take 1 lb of stinging nettles and boil in 1 pint of water. (Take care not to get stung) Leave to cool, strain. Gently rub into the scalp and shampoo. This method helps prevent dandruff and also hair loss so they say.

3 For that extra shine, before final rinse pour beer over hair. Rinse well to rid smell.

4 Try making your own hair conditioner using mayonnaise. Apply to dry hair. Cover with plastic cap, wrap in warm towel and leave for 20-30 minutes. Wash and rinse thoroughly

Skincare

For a fresh clear complexion drink 2 litres of water a day, it will work wonders for your skin. Some skin toners can be very expensive so a great alternative is Witch hazel.

Create your own facemask. Ingredients include yeast and milk.

1 Take fresh baking yeast and blend with tepid milk mix into a thick paste. Apply to face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water (not hot) followed with a cold rinse. This method leaves skin soft supple and is known to prevent spots

2 One cause of puffy eyes is the fluid retention of our head in that part of the eye. Fluid can easily be stored under the eyes when asleep. Overnight, body fluids go to the head hence not circulating properly. Try sleeping with the head elevated. Try placing cool gel bags around the eyes. Chilled cucumber if placed onto the eyes will freshen and reduce the look of tired eyes.

Lip pencils work well for the lip pout.

1 Choose a colour that is similar in shade to your true lip colour. Lightly outline the skin around the lips then colour in your true lips. You can use a lighter coloured lip pencil and add a highlight on the top middle portion of your lower lip. Go easy so as not to end up like coco the clown. Rub the lip pencil on the middle of your lower lip to create a light highlight. Next step is to put your lipstick on over the highlighted area for the full pout appearance.

Sadly the neck appears to age faster than most other body parts; however a little TLC can help decrease visibility of crease/wrinkles.

1 Face foundation is normally applied to the neck as well as the face. Some women have owned up to either forgetting or can not be bothered to remove this at night. The neck like the face requires gentle exfoliation. Neck skin needs protection from the suns harmful UV rays which damages the skin severely, it can affect skin tone, cause age spots and worse still the cause of skin cancer. These are just prevention methods and not a cure. Avoiding the sun, exfoliating and applying moisturizer to the skin will definitely make neck creases far less noticeable.

Firm breasts can be helped through exercise. Swimming is one of the best exercises to help firm breasts up, because it requires the pectoral muscles to continually work. Joining a fitness gym is the best course of action to take. Your local trainer in the gymnasium may suggest using the dumbbell press.

Step1

Lie on your back with 3-5 lb. free weights.

Step2

Raise the weights over your head with your arms fully extended from the shoulder.

Step3

Lower the weights to your chest, squeezing your pectoral muscles.

Step4

Raise the weights back to the original position.

Step5

Complete two sets of 15 repetitions.

The best and proven way to keep the body in a healthy tip top condition is to join a gym or yoga class. Obesity is a rising major concern. Any person carrying excess weight is at risk from particular diseases. Overweight people are most likely the ones to feel less good about themselves, Light exercise and a well balanced diet is the road to take to find the new healthy you. It can be fun dieting and very educational. Learning about foods in the way of what is good and not good for you can be passed onto others in your family should they have a weight problem. Now go run that treadmill with an apple in hand.
